Purpose: Planning Forms help make students, their teammates, and their instructors aware of what they plan to do in lab. Coming to lab without a plan is more likely to lead to wasted time and lower success. Being "forced" to write out a plan makes students consider what they have to do and informs instructors so they can provide better guidance.

Deadline: Planning forms are due lab meets. Those submitted by 5:00 PM the day before lab meets are guaranteed feedback. Planning forms will be accepted late BUT students who have not submitted their planning forms on-line will NOT be admitted (in-person or virtually) to lab until they do. Students who are absent from labs are still required to submit their planning forms.

Reminder: Plans are not perfect and not expected to be. They will regularly undergo modifications. Don't worry worry about your uncertainties. Instead, look forward to the feedback on your planning forms and use that to improve your planning.
